Bubbie has always been sweet on her Bread & Butter Chips. Made using a family recipe, these snacking pickles are traditionally tart, subtly sweet, and loved by generations.
Find them in the refrigerated section.
Dating back to the early 1920s, the first sweet and sour “bread & butter” chip was coined and sold by two Illinois cucumber farmers, Omar and Cora Fanning. It is said that the iconic name “bread and butter” came about by bartering the famous pickles for staples such as “bread” and “butter.”
This tangy and sweet picnic staple can be eaten just like any other Bubbie fermented pickle. They are great on burgers and sandwiches, perfect for your favorite fried pickle recipe, or standalone well as a compliment to your BBQ fare.
Always non-GMO, gluten free, preservative free, and OU Kosher certified, Bubbies’ bread and butter pickles are delicious straight out of the jar and serve as the best kid-friendly snack or adult delight.
