Spicy Sweet & Sour Pickled Whiskey

A little bit sweet, a little bit sour, and a whole lot of flavor. This Spicy Sweet & Sour Pickled Whiskey made with Bubbies Kosher Dill Pickle brine elevates the spiciness of Sriacha and the smooth finish of local honey.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ tbsp freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 3 tbsp Kosher Dill Pickle brine
  • 1-2 tbsp honey, adjust for preference + more for garnish
  • 1-2 tsp sriracha sauce, adjust for preference
  • 2-3 shots of whiskey
  • ¼ tsp powdered cayenne pepper, for garnish
  • ¼ tsp sugar, for garnish
  • ½ Bubbies Kosher Dill Pickle, cut into a spear, for garnish
  • Ice cubes

Directions

  1. In a cocktail shaker, add lime juice, brine, honey, sriracha, whiskey, and ice cubes. Shake well.
  2. In a shallow bowl, add sugar and cayenne pepper and mix until well combined.
  3. Grab your cocktail glass and lightly coat the rim of the glass with honey.
  4. Dip the honey-rimmed glass with the sugar-pepper mixture.
  5. Pour cocktail in the glass, add pickle garnish, and enjoy!
